Karen Booth

I’m Karen Booth, a Midwestern girl transplanted in the South, raised on 80s music, Judy Blume, and the films of John Hughes. An early preoccupation with Rock ‘n’ Roll led me to spend my twenties working my way from intern to executive in the music industry. Several of my books revolve around the world of backstage passes and band dynamics, but I don’t limit myself to rock star romances. I write big city love stories, too. More than anything, I love to write about the crazy ways in which we find the right person.
When I’m not creating hunky fictional men and the women who test them, I’m listening to everything from Otis Redding to Duran Duran to Superchunk with my kids, honing my Southern cooking skills (I make some mean collards), or sweet-talking my astoundingly supportive husband into whipping up a batch of cocktails.
What’s next? Between Marriage and Merger, Book 3 in the Locke Legacy Trilogy will be out February 1, 2018. The Exposed romance anthology featuring Wishing, a sequel to Bring Me Back and Back Forever, will be out March 13, 2018. Secret Twins for the Texan: Texas Cattleman’s Club The Impostor will be out July 1, 2018.
