Captain James T. Kirk and the crew of the U.S.S. Se essa história fosse um dos episódio da série, estaria no terceiro ano, e se você assistiu a série sabe que isso não é exatamente elogioso, hehe.

A inclusão das Hortas na história foi uma boa ideia e bem executada; Spock tem um papel de destaque na resolução dos problemas (como sempre) e, claro, Kirk tem um romance condenado, mas apaixonado, com uma mulher com quem ele nunca poderá ficar pelo resto da vida - o que não acrescentou nada para a história (vai ver William Shatner estava "cochichando sugestões" no ouvido de Daniel, rsrsrs)
