The Immortium Conclave has begun their assaults on the Society of Night by attacking Queen Lilith and Lord Dracul directly. In the wake of the attack, hardened choices must be made to maintain the public views to avoid not just human prejudice, but civil unrest between the mortals of the Global Alliance, and the Immortium and Aeonians of The Society of Night. Clues of Xairin's true heritage are scratched at the surface forcing the young vampire to delve deeper into the Immortium world than he had previously considered.
