Leitura rápida e gostosa.
Jacob conhece Holly a anos. Ela é a filha do seu melhor amigo, e Holly e Rex, seu pai, sempre estavam no rancho de Jacob.
Quando Jacob está precisando de um novo cozinheiro, Rex diz que sua filha, que acabou de sair da escola de culinária, poderia ir trabalhar no rancho.
Chegando lá, Jacob percebe que a pequena Holly cresceu e virou uma mulher linda.
Ao chegar no rancho que tanto ama, Holly rever Jacob e começa a ter sentimentos por ele.
Mas por ser mais velho e melhor amigo de Rex, Jacob pensa que não pode investir em um relacionamento com Holly.
Mas com uma pequena ajuda de um de seus empregados, Jacob percebe que não deve deixar um amor como esse ir embora.
