Sabine knows the Colonel is way off-limits, but can’t help fantasizing about her. Especially when she starts picking up unspoken cues—a stolen glance, a secret smile, an “accidental” brush of hands. Or is it just wishful thinking? After all, Rebecca’s wedding ring shines almost as brightly as her deep blue eyes…

Gostei muito apesar de não concordar com algumas escolhas da autora pra determinada personagem e com o tempo que ela gastou nas consequências disso. Acho que foi desnecessário e não serviu pra nada além de me irritar. Dava pra trazer drama suficiente sem vilanizar ninguém.
Preferia um pov duplo nesse aqui pois acho que eu merecia os pensamentos de Rebecca e não só os de Sabine que se tornou um pouco chata pra mim em alguns momentos. Como casal funcionam bem como, tem bastante química mas ficou aquela sensação de que faltou algo, o que provavelmente explica a existência de mais livros com elas.
Gostei dos personagens secundários, a irmã de Sabine, o melhor amigo e a parceira de quarto dela trazem bons momentos pra história e boas risadas.
Tem um trecho bastante forte relacionado à guerra mas achei bem escrita e acredito que ele trará bons momentos quando o tept for abordado no próximo livro.
