Olha, eu nem sei bem o que dizer dessa leitura. Eu esperava algo muito diferente, porque peguei a indicação em uma lista que tinha vários livros de terror bem pesados que eu já tinha lido. Mas o livro na verdade é bem "wholesome". Mistura elementos de fantasia com um retrato da vida de uma família em uma cidade da região metropolitana de Londres. O personagem principal, Lanny, é retratado pelo olhar dos pais, de um amigo da família e de vizinhos. É uma criança "mágica", com ideias e questionamentos muito diferentes daqueles comuns às outras crianças da sua idade. A gente acompanha também as impressões de um personagem meio mítico, uma espécie de deidade, que é ao mesmo tempo uma lenda urbana e um espírito que habita aquela região. O que mais gostei do livro foram os recursos de escrita que o autor usa, tanto de estilo quanto recursos gráficos mesmo. Recomendo bastante a leitura.
