Naomi Novik
NAOMI NOVIK nasceu em Nova York em 1973, parte da primeira geração americana de sua família, e ela foi criada com contos de fadas poloneses, Baba Yaga e Tolkien. Seu primeiro livro, O dragão de Sua Majestade, da série Temeraire, foi publicado em 2006 e traduzido para vinte e três idiomas, além de os direitos de filmagem terem sido comprados por Peter Jackson, o diretor vencedor do Oscar pela trilogia O senhor dos anéis. Ganhou o Prêmio John W. Campbell de Melhor Autora Revelação, o Prêmio Compton Crook de Melhor Primeiro Livro, e o Prêmio Locus por Melhor Primeiro Livro.
