“Any man” conta sobre homens que são abusados sexualmente por uma mulher. O foco do livro não é no abuso em si, mas no trauma que gera para as vítimas. Todo o processo de raiva, vergonha e dor que segue o ato.

Além disso, fala sobre a exploração midiática sem respeito e todo o preconceito tanto da polícia quando das pessoas em geral culpabilizando a vítima.

Muitos momentos são doloridos de ler e a diagramação do livro, fez toda diferença nesses aspecto.

Dessa vez, o audiobook eu ouvi pelo @storytelbrasil e foi excelente! Tanto a interpretação dos narradores, como os efeitos sonoros! Também conta com a participação da autora que narra a abertura.

Não é um livro para todo mundo, pois tem descrições dos abusos e muito sofrimento. Então atenção para os gatilhos!
