El tiempo y la memoria

García Márquez logró crear una obra muy rica, tanto en acontecimientos como en detalles. Me pregunto si él mismo había pensado en toda la historia antes mismo de comenzar a escribir, o si él lo criaba mientras escribía. En todo caso, el autor es un grande contador de historias y cada párrafo agárrate con una nueva peripecia. Me gustó mucho leer la creación de Macondo, y los gitanos que allí visitaban, y la sabiduría de Melquíades y la soledad polvorienta de la ciudad. Cada uno de la familia Buendía construye, de su forma, toda la historia (historia esa que ya había sido escrita en la profecía).

Como dice Pilar, la historia de la familia Buendía era un engranaje de repeticiones irreparables, una rueda giratoria que hubiera seguido dando vueltas hasta la eternidad. Es verdad, pero no lo siguió, porque "las estirpes condenadas a cien años de soledad no tenían una segunda oportunidad sobre la tierra." Y de nuevo yo me encuentro con el tema que más impresioname, no solamente en la literatura como también en mi vida personal: el tiempo. Otro tema interesante en esta obra es la memoria.

Cien Años de Soledad es la mí primera grande experiencia de la literatura hispanohablante leída en la lengua original, y creo que ella sirvió como otra aprendisaje muy importante para míos estudios.
