Very didactic
The author wrote this book in order to present the concept of entropy in a simpler way. The main motivation was he believes that there is a lot of confusion about the concept, and many authors, instead of illuminating, make it difficult to understand. The author's methodology is to show that it is possible to derive the concept of entropy from common sense. I found the reading easy, and the examples are very good to follow. The only problem I found in the book is that the author fails to approach the concept of entropy in Information Theory as he does in Statistical Mechanics
