The great era of ghosting seems to be coming to an end, and Max tells the story of his family's struggle against a new generation of humans who no longer believe in spooks. But in the true spirit of childhood, Max faces up to his own fears and even accepts the new life his family is forced to make for itself in a faraway Scottish castle.
