Assim como o 1 livro Starters, a continuação Enders não deixa de lado a busca de Cally por desmascarar o velho e acabar com a prime, nesse 2 livro a garota se junta a novos personagens e passa por grandes aventuras para tentar acabar com os planos maldosos do seu inimigo e poder salvar os metais que até então correm sério risco de terem seus corpos alugados permanentemente pelos enders.
