This was the part of the ad which had drawn Marnie Simpson to the Philadelphia office of Bradley, Ryan, and Davis, Private Investigators. All the wealthy Mrs. Simpson knew was that her half brother Paul was missing, and the ad she had responded to had been lying on top of the ransom note she found in her dining.
What Marnie had no way of knowing was that Kevin Bradley and his partners were not the mere mortals they appeared to be. And they were, indeed, the only "people" who stood a chance of rescuing her brother from his equally inhuman captors - captors to whom Paul was the merest of pawns in their multidimensional, millennia-spawnning campaign of conquest.
