For as long as I can remember, I’ve been able to see monsters when no one else can. Some are average monsters that cause nothing more than a little mischief. But others are murderous, bloodthirsty beasts that hunt and kill humans.

And the sad part is I'm not any better.

I'm cursed with the ability to drive a mind to insanity simply with my touch. I can’t control my curse and nothing survives it. At least as far as I know.

But when Caspian, a cocky, demanding—and I’ll admit, extremely good looking—guy shows up in my life, everything I thought I knew about my ability and the world changes in an instant.

Caspian is a member of the Steel & Deadly Roses Society. A society that has dedicated their lives to slaying monsters. And they want me on their team. In exchange, they’re offering me food, shelter, and protection, all things which I need. They also don't seem to fear my curse.

The offer sounds great in theory, but the more I learn about the society, the more I wonder if some of the members might be monsters in disguise.
