The premise of the story involves the meeting of Iorek Byrnison and Lee Scoresby - an incident originally expected to appear in The Book of Dust.

O conto fala sobre como Iorek Byrninson e Lee Scoresby se conheceram, em uma manhã turbulenta numa cidadezinha do norte. Um conto relativamente rápido e de leitura prazerosa, um bom desenvolvimento e um final adequado, deixando a gente com vontade de mais. Phillip Pullman nos conta mais um pouco sobre o mundo fantástico de Lyra e nos deixa aproveitar mais tempo com personagens tão queridos.... leia mais
