The brilliance of Kundera
For those who has experienced his style and sense of humor before.

Personally, I love the mix of ingenuity in some of the characters, the complexity on the story with historical and political facts and the fulfillment of wiseness and philosophy involving the whole book.

This was my first reading of Kundera in English though, and I fairly must say it was one of my least favorites, I might have missed something on my understanding - Milan never lets it easy to digest some huge life truths -, and still I got impressed with so many nuances about Jaromil, the redhead (oh my oh my) and his mother.

Something made me feel like it was incomplete. I would love keep on reading it, diving into the details, having my questions answered. Why, again, did you do that to me, Milan? ?

Finally, I can?t see this being the first choice if your not familiar with the author. The story lacks at some moments on fluency from one chapter to another and honestly it?s slower than I would like in other times.
