Masterpiece.
I consider this to be the masterpiece among the Harry Potter books (mind you). It's the culmination of the whole series, in all the senses of the word: the culmination of the plot begun by the Philosopher's Stone; of the maturation of the characters; of the darkness of the story; of the intensity of the themes discussed by the series. The books really mature over the books, following the readers - who, like Harry himself - mostly started out as children and end the story as young adults. And perhaps the greatest literary worth of the series is that, no matter how old you are, you'll turn back to being 11 in the first book, and end up maturing all over again.
