O que achei de... The Trap (+ quotes)
"I open my mouth, helplessly. I suddenly have so much I need to tell her. So much to confess, to apologize for. But it is all falling apart too fast. There is no time left to say anything.
I do the only thing I have time for, the thing that matters. I kiss her."
"Sometimes fantasy is all you have."
"We make our own world, [...]. Away from everyone, everything. Go far, far, far away, never to be found again. Start afresh. Just you and me."
"Loyalty is the proof of love."
"We both live or we both die, but we do it together."
"She stares back down the length of the table, at the ancient journals and maps and books spread under the lamps. This is a river of information, containing secrets old as history itslef. And she suddenly, with an intense desire, desperately wants to read everything. Despite the danger, she needs to hear the secrets whispered in these pages, see the truths unveiled."
"I feel no fear. I'm not the prey. I'm the hunter, a hunter, one of millions. I'm just like everyone else and the thought fills me with a strange gladness. I belong. For the first time in my life, I don't feel other; I feel together. Not apart, but a part. Joined with everyone, with the millions behind me, with the whole world."
"Sometimes the truth doesn't set you free. Sometimes it haunts you. Sometimes you wish you never found out."
"This is what we are, [...]. "We are human. We live life to the hilt. We laugh, we smile, we love, we get our hearts broken. We hold back nothing. We live glorious lives, [...]. For each other. If these wualitites are aberrations, mutations, well, so be it. I choose them over 'normal'. I choose them over the stale, colorless, selfish existence they live."
