Much ado about nothing..
Leonato is the father of Hero, and he has one brother, Antonio, and one niece, Beatrice.
Some soldiers (Claudio and Benedicte), and friends (Don Pedro and Don John) were welcomed into his home because they were coming from the war
Hero and Claudio shared among themselves a rapturous love and decided to marry. The Hero's father agrees about this union and togheter mark the date for the wedding. Beatrice and Benedick was falling in love too, but they didn't say it with each other.
Don John, who is a bad person and makes troubles for the others, decided to broke the happiness of this family. He led Don Pedro and Claudio in the Hero window, where Margaret, servant of Hero, was together with another man, Don Pedro made them think that the woman was Hero.
On the wedding day Claudio accuses Hero of betraying him and he abandons her at the altar. All Hero's family believe that it was a lie and they decided to pretend she died and they hide her till the truth about her innocence coming.
After this, finally everybody discovers the truth and Leonato forces Claudio to tell everybody in the city how innocent Hero was and, besides, he must marry the Leonato's niece. He didn't know but this girl was Hero.
Finally, Beatrice and Benedicte stated that they are in love with each other. In the church, Claudio sees the mysterious girl and he agrees that it looks like Hero. Benedicte and Beatrice also get married and all dance and celebrate the double wedding

Leonato é o pai do Hero, e ele possui um irmão, Antonio, e uma sobrinha, Beatrice.
Alguns soldados (Claudio e Benedicte), e amigos (Don Pedro e D. João) foram recebidos em sua casa porque estavam chegando da guerra. Hero e Claudio despertaram entre si um amor arrebatador e decidiram se casar. O pai de Hero concorda sobre esta união e juntos marcam a data para o casamento. Beatriz e Benedicte também se apaixonam, mas eles não compartilham nada sobre isso.
Don John, que é uma pessoa má e traz problemas para os outros, decidiu destruir a felicidade que reinava naquela família. Ele levou Don Pedro e Claudio na janela de Hero, onde estava Margaret, servente de Hero, com outro homem, Don Pedro os fez pensar que aquela mulher era Hero.
No dia do casamento, Claudio acusa Hero de traí-lo e ele a abandona no altar. No entanto, sua família acredita que tudo foi uma mentira e decidem fingir que ela morreu, escondendo-na até que a verdade sobre sua inocência aparecesse.
Depois disso, finalmente, todos descobriram a verdade e Leonato obriga Claudio a dizer às pessoas da cidade a respeito da inocência de Hero e, além disso, que ele deve se casar com a sobrinha de Leonato. Ele não sabia, mas esta menina era Hero.
Finalmente, Beatrice e Benedicte declaram que estão apaixonados um pelo outro. Na igreja, Claudio vê a menina misteriosa e ele concorda que ela se parece com Hero. Benedicte e Beatrice também se casam e todos dançam e comemoram o duplo casamento.
