"Never!! You and I got nothing in common! You`re dead, all of you! This is my fight! Mine, a person of flesh and blood!
You`re nothing but worthless scum! Get away from me, carcasses!! That's right! I`ll do it myself! I`ll kill the count with my very own flesh and blood.”
Man, how crazy! This edition of the manga has the first three volumes included. It will tell the story of the swordsman Guts, in his search for demons to kill, and in search of the members of the Godhand. In the first two volumes you get to know Guts a little and Puck (elf) also appears and starts to follow him. He basically goes around killing various demons along the way, that seems to be his job. In the third volume is when it begins to tell the story of his childhood, and already in the first image is shocking! I really liked how the author makes a point of putting the details into the scene. I was surprised by how much I liked it, as I don't usually watch anime or read manga that contain a lot of mindless violence, but you're tempted to know more and more: Guts doesn't care about anyone, and he's going after the Godhands, does he wants to kill everyone? Is it just revenge? Does it have any more meaning? Is he human? hahaha As it is an edition with larger drawings, it is much easier to understand the scenario and the lines. I SUPER recommend it if you like action and fighting and beating and horror and... follow the line.
“That`s what I want to know!! What is my place in the world? Who am I? What am I capable of? What am I destined for?
It`s funny…
You`re the first person I`ve ever spoken to like this.”
