Need
Zara is a girl who just lost her father (actually stepfather) and apparently suffering. Her mother sends her to live with her grandmother, who is a strong woman willing to help whoever needs it.
Zara likes to memorize phobias and change them when she is nervous. Also, she thinks that some weird guy is following her since her father died.
So she is sent to this small and freezing Maine town, where she meets Ian, Issie, Nick, and Devyn. They are all really kind to her. Issie becomes her best friend, Devyn is really kind, Nick is the protector big guy who also is handsome, Ian ks the popular guy who really wants to be with her even she is not presented as a noticeable girl.
The story becomes a plot that is not the most convincing, that is not a good reason for her mother sent there. Also, her grandmother is aways away even being really preoccupied with Zara.
The story involves different supernatural creatures that we are used to. However, the plot and the plot twists are really predictable, and since the third chapter, we can realize where the story is going.
Also, the phobias are just lost in the plot, that is not a good explanation of why she likes to memorize them. Yet the supernatural creatures are different there is a lack of information about them in the story.
The love story that is supposed to be there is just weak and not good enough to involve the reader.
It is a reasonable teenager drama.
