(1837-38) a novel by Charles Dickens about a poor boy called Oliver Twist. The most famous scene in the book takes place in the workhouse when Oliver holds out his bowl and asks for more food, but is punished instead. He runs away to London and then lives with Fagin, the leader of a group of young thieves who include the Artful Dodger.

Oliver with a lot of Twists!

O escolhi como minha primeira leitura em inglês e apesar de ser um texto adaptado,' a história me pareceu maraviliosa,' me dando quase que uma reviravolta por minuto! Me mantive entretido durante todo o livro,' não a toa que comecei simultaneamente a Tom Sawyer }também adaptado,' porém em português{ mas permaneci só neste. Agora quero assistir ao filme e ler a versão íntegra do texto. Sobre a adaptação: como me parece ser uma feita para fins educativos,' o vocabulário por muitas vezes... leia mais
