Já havia lido o livro antes, assim como assistido ao filme. Mas ler Príncipe Caspian novamente me lembrou como a história difere do filme em muitos pontos. A narrativa é uma das mais longas até aqui (esse é o quarto livro das Crônicas). Para quem já viu o filme, pode ser que haja expectativa de algumas coisas acontecerem mais rápido, mas Lewis constrói a narrativa com cuidado e atenção às histórias paralelas que convergirão mais tarde.
