Pretty Things é um spin-off da série de 3 livros BFF - Best Friend´s Father, que falava da história de amor entre Jesse e Eric. Aqui temos Ty, melhor amigo de Jesse e filho de Eric. Ty foi um personagem muito querido da série BFF, aparecendo muito nos 3 livros e mais fortemente no terceiro, onde já temos uma ideia de como será o livro dele.
Nesse livro temos o melhor de Ty! Que delícia um livro todo dedicado a ele e sua descoberta com o amor.
Liam, por quem ele se apaixona, é um dos melhores amigos do pai dele, Eric, e nós também conhecemos o Liam nos livros da série, porém, mais brevemente. Personagem misterioso e extremamente fechado, Liam é o oposto de Ty, que é cativante e bem humorado todo tempo.
Esse livro é totalmente diferente dos 3 da série BFF. A narrativa, os personagens, o ritmo do livro... enquanto a série é extremamente emocional e se concentra em questões psicológicas e superação de traumas, Pretty Things é totalmente adrenalina, desejo e aventuras.
Em quase 90% do livro, quando achamos que tudo já se resolveu, vem o autor e nos puxa o tapete, reacendendo todas as emoções anteriores.
Amei! Um dos poucos livros que eu marquei com 5 estrelas. (lembrando que é ficção! Tem absurdos sim! Mas tudo se encaixa perfeitamente e temos um livro incrível).
