Muito bom para estudantes de idiomas em geral

As lições que o livro falam são boas para o aprendizado de qualquer idioma, não só o japonês. A imersão é parte fundamental do processo de fluência e, como o autor diz, só depende do momento de sua escolha.

O ambiente nativo é inevitavelmente diferente do ambiente dos livros texto, das apostilas, portanto, mesmo que você termine dezenas desses, você não terá tido contato com as mesmas coisas que as pessoas que falam aquele idioma.

Não é raro encontrarmos relatos pela internet de pessoas que aprenderam um idioma simplesmente assistindo à TV ou séries.

Além disso, ele discorre brevemente sobe a técnica de repetição espaçada e apresenta um importante aliado, o AnkiDroid. Talvez alguns tipos de exercício proposto não seja tão eficazes em outros idiomas, mas a maioria poderia ser facilmente posta em qualquer língua à escolha.

Entretanto ele fala sobre buscar aprender a gramática à medida que nos a encontramos no dia a dia de nossas leituras ou aos materiais audiovisuais que os nativos também consomem. Ainda não tenho opinião a priori pois nunca fiz isso, sempre olhei primeiro a gramática em todas as línguas que aprendi, então não tenho propriedade a discorrer sobre o assunto.

Pela brevidade e forma sucinta de apresentar as ideias, super recomendo o livro, não só para estudante de japonês, apesar de principalmente para esses, mas para estudantes de línguas em geral.
