Tennessee Williams, pseudônimo de Thomas Lanier Williams, foi um dramaturgo estadunidense, ganhador de muitos prêmios. Williams foi o vencedor do Prêmio Pulitzer por <i>A Streetcar Named Desire</i> em 1948 e por <i>Cat on a Hot Tin Roof</i> em 1955.
