Meu último contato com Fitzgerald foi quando li “O Grande Gatsby” e eu tinha esquecido como a escrita desse autor é gostosa.
O conto de Benjamin Button é muito breve, e eu sinto que deveria ter sido um romance… Pena que não foi. Tinha muita coisa ali para explorar e desenvolver.
Mas o conto é muito gostoso de se ler, e no final eu tive aquela sensação de nostalgia típica de um final saudoso em relação ao começo da história. A partir desse conto, podemos discorrer longamente sobre a passagem do tempo, sobre a efemeridade da vida, relações humanas, aparências em sociedades em geral, e sobre sentimentos. Sim, tudo isso em poucas páginas.
Vale a pena ser lido.
