No One Here Gets Out Alive was the first biography of Jim Morrison, lead singer and lyricist of the L.A. rock band The Doors, written after his death by journalist Jerry Hopkins, with later "insider" information added by Danny Sugerman. The book is largely credited with revitalizing the popularity of the Doors and Morrison.

Taking its title from the Doors song "Five to One", the book is divided into three sections: The Bow is Drawn, The Arrow Flies and The Arrow Falls, for the early years of his life, his rise to fame with the Doors and his final years and death, respectively.

Parecia não ter fim kkkkk

Vamos combinar que biografias tendem a ser entediantes a partir de certo ponto, porque a vida de ninguém é tão interessante 100% do tempo. Por se tratar de um rockstar então, comecei a ler achando que terminaria sem gostar do Jim, já que na adolescência ele era um completo idiota. Mas até aí todos os caras são. Acabei o livro depois de muito enrolar porque a leitura me desanimou totalmente a partir de certo ponto falando muito de shows e da carreira da banda sem focar realmente na vida pessoal de Jim, Pam e essa bolha na qual eu esperava me inteirar mais. Mesmo assim, é uma leitura que faz pensar e analisar características comuns em diversos artistas como o fato de se perder quando seu público não entende a sua essência.
