"Skintones" is a fiction book based on Brazil's history during the slavery time. The story is about the life of a girl named Clara, and her struggle to discover the truth about the injustices that happen around her - while she also has to deal with the injustices that happen with herself, and the result of decisions others make about her own life and future. I really liked how the research the author made while writing this book was very complete, making the story itself even more intersting. I also loved the way the story is full of emotion and mystery, because it made me curious and eager to read more. I recommend this book to people who like fiction books, love stories, and history!
