A Cidade e as Estrelas é um livro bastante filosófico que nos faz refletir sobre o papel da humanidade na Terra, o seu futuro e seus medos. A história me fez lembrar muito a trilogia Fundação do Isaac Asimov, onde temos dois planetas. Um planeta é dedicado a tecnologia, que semelha a cidade Diaspar e outro planeta dedica a mente lembrando a cidade Lys. Não sei se Arthur Clarck teve influência da obra de Issac Asimov, mas o seu livro foi publicado alguns anos depois das obras Fundação. ... leia mais
