The discovery of a neglected garden transforms the life of a sullen and unloved little girl-and everyone around her, too. When the newly orphaned Mary Lennox leaves her native India and arrives at her uncle's mansion in Yorkshire, everything seems strange to her. Quem nunca ouviu falar de O jardim Secreto? É incrível pensar, que essa maravilha, esse grande clássico, escrito pela Inglesa e dramaturga Frances Hodgson Burnett, no ano de 1911, tem viajado através do tempo e ainda continua a deleitar leitores por toda parte. Meu primeiro contato com a história, foi ainda muito pequeno, através do filme de 1993, dirigido pela Agnieszka Holland, que sempre passava na Sessão da Tarde, e eu tinha que parar para assistir.
