Jack Torrance's new job at the Overlook Hotel is the perfect chance for a fresh start. Excelente! Não tenho outra palavra pra descrever esse livro. Talvez seja o melhor que li do King até agora. Em linhas gerais, o livro conta a história de Jack Torrance, sua esposa Mendy e seu filho Danny. O pai é contratado para ser zelador do Hotel Overlook durante o inverno, época em que o estabelecimento fica isolado do mundo por conta das nevascas, e acaba levando sua família com ele.
