De conceito amplo e moral ainda mais, What Big Teeth não possuí aspirações de ensinar e leitore como se viver. De fato não há uma moral óbvia, não há sequer uma base para isso; a família Zarrin, à qual pertence a protagonista Eleanor, rejeita qualquer tipo de normalidade. Não por preconceito, mas pela natureza do que são.
