Tranquilamente, é o melhor livro da série até agora. Romance, ação, amizade, conflitos políticos e uma guerra. Deixando para trás algumas características irritantes, Persephone evoluiu muito como deusa e como "pessoa". Seus poderes foram melhor trabalhados, de forma que ela finalmente tenha descoberto a força que tem, e seus traumas foram bem conduzidos. "I am the beggining and the end of worlds."
