The concluding volume in the Alone trilogy, which began with Chasers (2012), picks up the narrative where it ended in Survivor (2013). Despite varied scenes of conflict, action, and reflection, the unconvincing characters and relationships drag this unsatisfying novel down. Consider for purchase only where demand warrants it.
