The Clay and The Shadow

Primitive peoples produced a wide repertoire of images and symbols through art that tell the story and relate to the evolution of man. Images preceded verbal language, and through them the psyche communicates with consciousness.In this book I write about the importance of expressing ourselves through art to bridge the gap between conscious and unconscious contents. How have we repressed such an important connection for the elaboration of emotions and feelings? How can clay modeling be a mediator of communication with the unconscious, helping us to reconcile our emotional issues that keep us from evolving?
