A escrita de Milena Mckay é bonita e até meio poética em certas partes. As personagens são críveis, atraentes e sem exageros. Magdelene é uma das melhores ice queens que já li, não é uma megera total, mas ainda tem uma autoridade atrativa. O romance foi bem construído e rolou no tempo certo. As cenas mais intimas são de muito bom gosto, não tem nenhum contorcionismo exagerado e ainda conseguem ser muito sedutoras.
