A Companion to Ancient Epic

Book Description
The poems of the Epic Cycle, although surviving only as fragments, are crucial for understanding the development of the Iliad and the Odyssey, as well as of Greek mythology more broadly. This volume provides the scholarly community and graduate students with a thorough critical foundation for reading and interpreting them.
