David Polonsky

Graduated from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem, in 1998. David's illustrations appeared in most of Israel's leading newspapers and magazines. Art director and lead artist for "Waltz with Bashir", an animated documentary feature, official selection in the 2008 Cannes film festival. Polonsky has illustrated a number of children's books, and won the Israel Museum award for children's book illustration in 2004 and 2008. Worked as an Art Director in a number of animated and puppet TV shows. Since 1999- teaches animation and illustration in Bezalel Academy of Art and Design and in Shenkar School of Design .
