Dream Journey

This short story is based on an actual dream. It started as I was walking through grass and came across a trail that I decided to follow. I meet a gentleman along the way and we agreed that it was better to walk with someone. Along our trek, we talked about life and he had a lot of knowledge and wisdom that he shared. He queried me about my life that I had been reluctant to answer. I finally figured out who that person was. We continued our walk when we came to a crossroads that I had been to before. My friend asked me which road I had taken previously. I told him I went straight which I entered the Valley of Death, Psalm 23:4.Later we traveled to hell under his guidance. Returning to the crossroads we took the right trail on our final venture.
