After I scored the game-winning goal to win the Stanley Cup, I got a congratulatory email from Summer Gunderson that dared me to hope in a way I haven't in years. She was my first love and the girl I've never been able to forget.

When I go back to Minnesota for my day with the Stanley Cup, Summer is there, every step of the way, covering it for our town newspaper. While everyone is focusing on me, I'm focusing on her, because of one simple, unending, truth: if Summer is in the room I can't take my eyes off her.

I haven't seen Christopher since we parted ways all those years ago, but now he's back for his day with the Cup and I've heard he's going to stay a little while.
