Era só falar que traiu (?)
Que pesadoooo. Eu li muito rápido, reclamei porém li em um dia. Eu falo, mas penso que se o livro conseguiu me deixar com raiva do personagem e esse era o intuito da autora, penso que ela obteve sucesso.
Afinal, que relacionamento tóxico maldito que ela se enfia ?
E pior, levando ao pé da letra a máxima do dark romance que pode tudo menos traição kkkkrying
Mas como eu disse, River me dava uma raiva aceitando tudo que a autora merece parabéns pelo nosso desespero ?
Nunca passei por um relacionamento tóxico, mas pelo que falam imagino que seja bem assim e isso nos dá outra visão. Não justifica, mas mostra outro ponto e vista.
Mako, 0 defeitos, mas muito louco inconsequente por uma mulher que ele mal conhecia né ?
Enfim, quem sou eu pra criticar o dark romance, não é mesmo?
Achei ok, não morri de amores, só de raiva por um bom tempo do Ryan kkkk

Holy sh*t do I need to talk about this book. It was the most intense, heartbreaking, shocking yet beautiful readings I?ve had so far.

?Shallow Hill is where souls suffer slow and miserable deaths.

Ryan Fitzgerald is everything you'd want in a man. Attractive, rich, an aspiring lawyer, and would do anything to keep River. But that's not the only thing that attracts her. It's his attentiveness, his possessiveness... maybe not so much his temper.

When her relationship takes a dark turn, Ryan's estranged brother, Mako, is the only one who sees it. He knows exactly what Ryan is capable of, and it's not the first time he had to be a knight in shining armor.

River came from Shallow Hill, though. She's never needed saving before. What Mako doesn't see, is that River is perfectly capable of taking care of herself.

The only one who should be scared is Ryan.?

It was difficult to read it. So difficult. Definitely check for trigger warnings because the violence scenes are very explicit and descriptive. I thought River would be a badass female character, but she wasn?t. She was a victim, desperately and sadly in need of saving, even though she claimed so hard she wasn?t. That was what broke my heart the most.
Mako was just the sweetest. He?s definitely made it to my favorite MMC list. About Ryan and the rest of the characters, well? If you?re brave and have enough stomach to go on this f*cked up of a merry-go-reading-round, join me!

Perturbador ?
Quando comecei a ler achei que a protagonista seria forte e destemida,que ela seria fod@

Mais não,a garota só levava surra atrás de surra,era humilhada,abusada fisicamente e psicologicamente,molestada e tudo de pior.E não somente por um homem não.
As partes em que ela está sendo maltratada são muito fortes,tem que ter estômago.

Particularmente não gostei dela,ela era muito submissa à tudo.E se rendia muito fácil a tudo.
Ela fazia de tudo pelo cara,achando que o que sentia por ele era amor,e achando que ele a amava também?não a julgo,porque ele era muito manipulador,manipulava as emoções dela,se fazia de vítima,culpava ela por todas as ?que ele fazia com ela.
No fim ele teve o que mereceu,só acho.

Não questiono as decisões que ela tomou no final do livro,até porque ela foi muito machucada.

A questão do serial killer,pra mim estava na cara de quem era,não me surpreendi quando a identidade dele foi revelada.

Gostei do Mako,ele só queria protegê-la e ficava sempre em volta dela preocupado.

Uma leitura bastante difícil,tem muitos gatilhos,e chega em umas cenas mais pro final que fica muito perturbador e grotesco?.
