Contrary to someone's expectation, a concert artist's life on the road is full of solitude, surrounded by the unexpected and imponderable, putting one's industriousness and adaptability really to the test - not to mention love of music or the sheer will to perform in front of a public that demands nothing less than beauty and perfection.
