"And so, the lion fell in love with the lamb..."
I don't know how to rate this book. My emotional attachement to Twilight Saga(both films and now, books) is surreal. It's like knowing something is terrible and kind of problematic but still loving every part of it. Maybe, and this is my best guess, I love it because it is, in all manners, bad.
While I was rewatching the first movie I had an inventive, amazing idea: I should read it, for real! So I tried to find someone to borrow me the books, and I did, however it would take too long to get them. Then, it hitted me. I should read on my phone and computer in english!!! Pure, original, the cream of the crop of the worst literature in the world. (Yeah, I'm being too dramatic, sorry lol)
I read Twilight in ten days for my brain works slowly in this language. There were words I didn't knew that appeared a lot, like "sighed" (that's why Kristen Stewart sighed a hundred times, now I get it!), so I memorized their meanings. Nevertheless, at some point I got lazy and just moved on with the reading while tried to understand the context. Well, in my opinion, I did a good job.
How many stars should I give to this? Five, because I love how melodramatic it is. I'm not kidding, Bella LITERALLY passed out when she was kissing Edward, I almost died from cringe. My critical sense is very doubtful, you really shouldn't take it for granted.
In conclusion, my sincere apologies to you, to myself and the human kind. I surely did wasted my time but what the hell! It was worth it. Excited for the next one!
Here are two parts of the book which got me like :0 wow
"Twilight, again," he murmured. "Another ending. No matter how perfect the day is, it always has to end.
"So ready for this to be the end," he murmured, almost to himself, "for this to be the twilight of your life, though your life has barely started. You're ready to give up everything."
"It's not the end, it's the beginning," I disagreed under my breath.
Oh, sorry for bad english as well.
Bye
