Just 12 months after starting work as a professional photographer's model, Norma Jeane signed her first movie contract with 20th Century Fox in 1946. Her name changed to Marilyn Monroe and modeling, it seemed, had just been that first crucial step towards an acting career. During the next three years, while showing little promise as an actress, Monroe supported herself through modeling jobs, photographs and appearing on the front covers of magazines. It was to lead to a short but glittering career in Hollywood, when Monroe became the darling of the silver screen and found a super stardom that could only have been dreamt of in early years. But all this came to a tragic and when Monroe was found dead in 1962 at age of 36. Includes 6 free ready-to-frame 8x10 prints.
