Modern Short Stories

This collection contains ten unabridged short stories by some of the greatest English writers of the twentieth century. They have been chosen for students who are already able to read English with some fluency. Each story has a glossary, and is followed by questions which are designed to stimulate thought and discussion. At the end of the book there is a list of further works by each author.
