Nas quase quatrocentas páginas pouco antecede o arco final. O ritmo do livro é custoso e as informações que permeiam os muitos mistérios raramente são entregues. No começo forcei a leitura por possuir o exemplar em inglês, fato pelo qual convenientemente resisti e continuei o livro. Contudo, da metade para o fim, uma série de tramas eclodem e alguns enigmas são respondidos, tornando a obra muito mais cativante.
