Angustiante

Ele é viúvo e se casa com uma mulher para q ela crie sua filha e o ajude a vencer as eleições .

Ele deixa avisado que jamais irá amá-la, pq ainda é apaixonado pela esposa morta.

Esse livro é um romance de época que se passa nos Estados Unidos, um tempo depois da expansão para o oeste, e a corrida do ouro. Achei o cenário mt interessante, sempre li romances de época que se passavam na corte inglesa.

Do começo ao fim é uma angústia. Ele negando os sentimentos e machucando ela propositalmente com palavras. Ela, mesmo assim, o ama demais.

Ele só se acertam em 90% do livro (sim, é isso mesmo)

Gostei da angústia toda, adoro o tema viúvo e pai solteiro, aliás, que paizão ele é!! Isso tenho q admitir

Tem q ter coragem pra enfrentar essa angústia toda, porém, valeu a pena pra mim. 🥳
