Kim Walker Smith is a singer-songwriter, worship leader, and founding member of the Jesus Culture, a global worship movement. For over fifteen years she has played a major role in influencing worshippers and worship teams around the world toward a passionate pursuit of Jesus.

Today Kim lives just outside of Sacramento, California with her husband Skyler, their two boys Wyatt and Bear, and daughter Maisie. When she's not leading worship at her church Jesus Culture Sacramento, she travels internationally to lead others into genuine encounter with Jesus. Tenho certeza que quem ler o livro irá se identificar com a história de Kim em algum momento, seja pelas dificuldades que enfrentou, seja por emoções, expectativas ou pensamentos. É uma história de como Deus pode restaurar e curar relacionamentos, transformar vidas e capacitar crentes para boas obras.

Como se trata de uma Biografia, o que podemos trazer como lição para nossas vidas é a questão de viver uma vida rendida diariamente a Jesus Cristo, todo dia é dia de arrependimento e de termos que confiar em Deus - e que Ele nos ama. Por isso, o título é Brave Surrender. É uma das conclusões que Kim chega.
