Plano Marshall surge durante a consolidação da nova ordem mundial

Em uma tradução literal, o nome do livro seria algo como “Plano Marshall: o alvorecer da guerra fria”. A realidade é que a Guerra Fria começou assim que as tropas americanas e soviéticas marcharam sobre a Alemanha, ocupando o seu território.

O Plano Marshall surge justamente durante a consolidação dessa nova ordem mundial, como um dos maiores planos econômicos e sociais de toda a história. Foi também o embrião de instituições que iriam moldar a União Europeia.
